Selinsgrove Stingrays

Welcome to the 2026 Selinsgrove Stingray Swim Team Registration. We are a part of the GSVAL league. Registration must be completed through this online form. 

Registration covers team t-shirt, swim cap, pool/lifeguard/coaching costs and insurance, starting at $125!

First athlete $125

Second athlete $115

Third athlete $110

Fourth athlete $105

Payment is required at the time of online registration via credit card. Registration is open through through the start of the season or until FULL. Financial hardship requiring assistance, contact President, Brandon Falk

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

Each swimmer MUST be able to swim the length of the Selinsgrove Community Pool (25m) unassisted. Previous swimming lessons are helpful.

Parents are expected to volunteer to help make our summer swim team successful. Parents/Guardians will help at swim meets. (timers, officials, set up, & concessions)

The first practice will be held on Monday June 1st at 5:30pm. 

Parents are expected to attend scheduled parent meeting: Wednesday June 3rd at 6:15pm.

2026 Practice Times (TENTATIVE until approved by the pool)

Evenings: Sunday & Monday; 5:30 - 7:30 pm and Wednesday & Thursday; 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Mornings: Tuesday & Thursday; 9:00 - 10:30 am

Practice times may be adjusted to accommodate different swimming ability and skills.

2026 Meet Schedule- Will be announced in May

Typically a mix of 3 home (Selinsgrove Community Pool) and 3 away meets (some as local as Sunbury or Lewisburg, others can be no further than Wellsboro).   Coaches typically request a minimum attendance at 2 regular meets and championships.

Saturday July 25th 2026 GSVAL Championships hosted by Lock Haven (location TBD)- Swimmers must attend 2 regular meets in order to be eligible to attend this meet. 

CODE OF CONDUCT/EXPECTATIONS:

1. Swimmers are expected to follow rules and regulations of Selinsgrove Community Pool.

2. Swimmers are expected to be prompt for all practices and meets. Contact the coach if you cannot attend.

3. Swimmers must treat their peers, coaches, and opponents with respect and should always promote good sportsmanship. Misbehavior may be grounds for dismissal from the team.

4. Swimmers must declare for meets at least 3 days prior to the date of the meet.
